EyeInsight is a patient education app developed by Brandon R. Erickson, MD, FACS. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what the EyeInsight app does and does not do with your information.

What we collect: nothing

EyeInsight does not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on any servers. The app does not require an account, does not ask for personal information, and does not connect to any servers operated by us.

Information stored on your device

EyeInsight stores the following information on your device only, inside the app's local storage:

This information never leaves your device. It is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app. There is no cloud sync, backup, or transmission of this data.

Permissions and how they're used

No third parties

EyeInsight does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No information about your use of the app is shared with anyone.

Children's privacy

EyeInsight does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for users of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how the app handles information (for example, by adding new features that interact with servers), we will update this policy and update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after such an update means you accept the revised policy.
